Destroyer, refitted to
hold more than twice the original model’s compliment of starfighters
and have a more powerful reactor, as well as more mounted weaponry
and stronger shielding.
Length: 1,088 meters
Fighter Compliment: Immense
Abilities:
Gentle Hand - Broadcasts a signal to
rally allied accuracy, speed, and rate of fire
Implications - Reduces enemy accuracy
Hero Battleship
Lucid Voice
(hero)
With the same exact
specifications as its sister ship, the far more renowned
Invisible Hand, the Lucid Voice seems designed
specifically as a double for the Separatist flagship. It has served
in this role since its construction, once hosting the Grievous
doppelganger known only as the Necrosis Unit on a mission to
Asceplis in an attempt to dupe all sides involved.
Length: 1,088 meters
Fighter Compliment: Immense
Abilities:
Gentle Hand - Broadcasts a signal to
rally allied accuracy, speed, and rate of fire
Implications - Reduces enemy accuracy
Hero Battleship
Providence-class
Destroyer
This impressive ship
bears a brief resemblance to the smaller Dreadnaught Heavy Cruiser,
but the Providence-class Destroyer has a function in bringing
starfighters and a decent amount of firepower into the battle. These
ships are a favorite of Confederacy flag officers and can take on
and destroy individual Venator-class Star Destroyers with the
support of their starfighters.
Length: 1,040 meters
Fighter Compliment: Medium
Battleship
Lucrehulk-class
Droid Battleship
(render)
A converted
Hoersch-Kessel cargo transport, the massive ring-shaped Lucrehulk-class
Droid Battleship is a central warship of the Trade Federation’s
enforcement fleet, which they have given to the Confederacy of
Independent Systems. Lucrehulk ships have generally poor
coverage with their assorted turbolasers, installed by Trade
Federation engineers to modify the vessel for combat duty. These
ships can also separate their inner cores, which can then serve as
transports for landing ground forces.
Length: 3,170 meters
Fighter Compliment: Immense
Abilities:
Remote Controllers - Increases allied
starfighters' speed, agility, and accuracy
Carrier
Recusant-class
Light Destroyer
A somewhat slender
starship with an array of three engine pods powering it from the
rear, the Recusant-class Light Destroyer can overpower
Republic Star Destroyers in groups of four or so, making them a
considerable step down from the much more capable Providence-class
ships. The Commerce Guild produces Recusant-class vessels and
has given them over to the Separatist fleet. Being able to fend off
starfighters as well as battle capital ships, these vessels are very
utilitarian. They have a powerful primary turbolaser weapon.
Length: 1,187 meters
Fighter Compliment: Fair
Cruiser
Munificent-class
Star Frigate
(render)
(render)
(render)
These mostly hollow ships
are the workhorses of the InterGalactic Banking Clan, an
organization run by Muuns that has joined forces with the
Confederacy of Independent Systems. Only a little smaller than
Victory-class Star Destroyers but much less powerful,
Munificent-class starships are best used in groups to overwhelm
larger ships and space stations from afar with their heavy
turbolaser guns.
Length: 825 meters
Fighter Compliment: Low
Abilities:
Heavy Turbolaser Cannon - Fires a
powerful artillery-range turbolaser bolt
Frigate
Diamond-class
Guild Cruiser
(render)
A fan-shaped Commerce
Guild star transport, the Diamond-class is not a
top-of-the-line warship, but it can do some minor damage to Republic
Dreadnaughts and destroy CR40 Cruisers with little difficulty.
Diamond-class Guild Cruisers are reliable spacecraft that rarely
break down, making them beloved by Confederacy commanders (and
mechanics).
Length: 324 meters
Fighter Compliment: None
Corvette
C-9979 Lander
Designed to unload
armored tanks en masse to form a massive invasion force, the C-9979
Landers cause terror in the skies wherever they go. With heavy
defensive armor but no way to defend against starfighter attack, the
C-9979s are best escorted by Confederacy fighters. They can take a
beating, but not always enough of one, and the load of forces they
can carry is far too large to simply laugh off.
Length: 135 meters
Fighter Compliment: None
Transport
Droid Tri-Fighter
(render)
A newer droid fighter
design, the Droid Tri-Fighter sacrifices the Droid Starfighter’s
speed and maneuverability for heavy firepower owing to its heavy
central laser cannon. They are smarter than the Droid Starfighters,
although this doesn’t say much, and able to take more of a hit in
general. They can double as assault starfighters.
Length: 5.4 meters
Armament: 1 Heavy Laser Cannon, 3 Laser
Cannons, Concussion Missiles
Heavy Starfighter
Droid Starfighter
(render)
This variable-geometry
starfighter is cheap, weak, and highly expendable. Powered by solid
fuel slugs that give it an impressive speed advantage, the Droid
Starfighter can open its wing pods to unleash a hail of fire from
four light laser cannons. The droid intelligences that pilot the
craft are mind-numbingly stupid compared to the average organic
pilot, making these fighters little more than a nuisance in small
numbers. In large numbers, they can be devastatingly effective.
Droid Starfighters are automatically launched from Lucrehulk-class
Droid Battleships, Munificent-class Star Frigates, and
Recusant-class Light Destroyers.
Length: 3.6 meters
Armament: 4 Light Laser Cannons
Light Starfighter
Nantex-class
Geonosian Starfighter
(render)
These short-range
Geonosian interceptors are designed solely to hunt down and destroy
enemy fighters. Moving at hitherto unheard-of speeds in both
atmosphere and space, they have weak firepower and no shields, but
are exceedingly hard to shake from one’s tail even in the best of
fighter craft simply due to their speed and agility. Geonosian
pilot-drones are joined to their ship and live only to pilot it.
Nantex-class Geonosian Starfighters are automatically launched
from the Pinnace.
Length: 9.8 meters
Armament: 1 Laser Cannon
Interceptor
Ground Units:
Battle Droid
(render)
A skeletal metal combat
droid with little intelligence programming and lacking in
independence, the Battle Droids are intended for the purpose of
swarming enemies in huge numbers and overpowering them that way, as
they will not win one-on-one skirmishes with any other infantry unit
in the game. They will collapse into scrap with one good hit on
them; they are hardly built like tanks.
Height: 1.91 meters
Armament: E-5 Blaster Rifle
Gun Infantry
Super Battle Droid
**Upgrade Unit**
These hulking upgrades to
standard Battle Droids are polished with a silver sheen and built
much more heavily. With less centralized processors, Super Battle
Droids can survive a few tough hits, although their wrist blaster
weapons are weak, making them still worse than the Clone Troopers
all-around. Super Battle Droids are also more aggressive, though no
more intelligent, than Battle Droids. With an upgrade, they will be
built along with Battle Droids in a battalion.
Height: 1.93 meters
Armament: Dual Wrist Blasters
Gun Infantry
Rocket Droid
A regular Battle Droid
but armed with a Baktoid-built missile launcher to take down armored
vehicles and aircraft, the Rocket Droid is even more fragile than
the standard Rocket Droid and is worthless against infantry, as all
other infantry units in the game can destroy them before they can
usually even get a missile off. Rocket Droids benefit from close-air
support, as they are not powerful enough to take down most heavier
vehicles by themselves.
Height: 1.91 meters
Armament: E-6OR Portable Missile Launcher
Missile Infantry
Droideka
(render)
Terrifying in form and
function, the Droidekas are produced by the vicious, cannibalistic
Colicoids in their own image. Able to curl into a ball and roll at
high speed, then unfurl to deploy on tripod legs, erect a bubble
shield around themselves, and hose down the surrounding area with a
withering barrage from four blaster cannons, Droidekas are able to
take down most infantry with ease and only suffer against heavier
vehicles and attacks from aircraft.
Height: 1.83 meters
Armament: 4 Light Blaster Cannons
Elite Infantry
Chameleon Droid
This squat reddish droid
scuttles along on four pointed legs. It has a small holoshroud to
effectively hide it from enemy sight, although it does not fool more
advanced infantry or vehicles and aircraft. They can plant mines to
deal heavy damage to enemy vehicles and use two weak shoulder
blasters to defend themselves if they are sighted.
Height: 1.42 meters
Armament: Dual Shoulder Blasters,
Explosive Mines
Abilities:
Minelaying - Deposits mines that will be
hidden to enemies and explode when enemy units pass near them
Stealth - A passive ability that hides
Chameleon Droids when they are not attacking
Octuptarra Droid
(render)
Bulbous-headed tall metal
droids, the spindly Octuptarra Droids (named after a Skakoan animal)
carry a deadly bioweapon specifically targeting clones of Jango Fett
and coded to attack individuals sharing those genomes. They are also
armed with blaster turrets facing in all directions, making them
only unable to counter aerial assaults, although vehicles are also
effective against them. They can plague enemy systems with the
virus, damaging all clone infantry in the infected system(s).
Height: 1.86 meters (at standard combat
height)
Armament: 3 Blaster Turrets (facing in
different directions)
Abilities:
Switch Modes - Switches between a mobile,
slow-firing infantry mode and a stationary, fast-firing turret mode
Hero Ability: Anti-Clone Virus
Minor Hero (Contaminator)
HMP Droid Gunship
The HMP Droid Gunship is
a heavily missile-laden droid gunship often deployed in ground
assaults to soften up enemy armor and, if necessary, crush enemy
bunkers and emplacements. They are roughly analogous to LAAT/i
Gunships, although they do not serve as transports.
Length: 12.3 meters
Armament: 2 Laser Cannon Turrets, 1 Laser
Cannon, 2 Light Laser Cannons, Concussion Rockets
Abilities:
Rocket Barrage - Fires a volley of
rockets at an enemy target
Gunship
STAP
(render)
This fast-moving
repulsorlift craft is designated as a Single Trooper Aerial
Platform. Designed to hunt down and ferret out enemy resistance with
twin blaster cannons, STAPs are not quite as fast as BARC Speeders
but can often manage to wreck one before falling out of range,
making them useful defense against hit-and-run attacks. A single
Battle Droid mans the STAP. STAPs can be upgraded to Heavy STAPs,
which also carry four concussion missiles.
Height: 2 meters
Armament: 2 Blaster Cannons
Scout
Secondary Role: Light Attack Vehicle
Crab Droid
Six-legged and scuttling,
the Crab Droids are specifically engineered for all-terrain
functionality, including work in marshy environments, and are
equipped with several tricky tools to carry out their dirty work. An
innovation of the cutting-edge Techno Union, the Crab Droid can
deploy dual blaster cannons and, with an upgrade, spray mud into the
eyes of enemies, temporarily blinding them.
Height: 1.49 meters
Armament: 2 Blaster Cannons, 1 Mud Jet
Sprayer
Abilities:
Muckrake - Sprays mud at enemy units to
briefly hinder their accuracy and line of sight
Light Tank
AAT
An armored hovertank
built by the Baktoid Armor Workshop, the mustard-yellow AAT is best
suited for bunker-busting. Virtually incapable of targeting
fast-moving vehicles or small infantry units, the AAT’s heavy laser
cannon, blaster cannons, and concussion rockets can level buildings
and crush even much larger armor pieces with their overwhelming
firepower. They can also take quite a beating.
Length: 9.75 meters
Armament: 1 Heavy Laser Turret, 2 Heavy
Blaster Cannons, Concussion Rockets
Abilities:
Switch Weapons - Switches between heavy
blaster cannons and heavy laser turret
Rocket Attack - Attacks a single target
with a pair of damaging concussion rockets
Medium Tank
Homing Spider Droid
(render)
Tall, raised up on
slender legs, the Homing Spider Droid is perhaps not the most
well-designed vehicle ever built. However, it is capable of striding
over rugged terrain and manmade obstacles alike with ease, raising
and lowering its central body sphere to fire upon enemies from a
considerable height as well. It can fire a concentrated and
sustained laser beam that can burn through even thick armor and can
reduce infantry to cinders in nanoseconds.
Height: 7.32 meters
Armament: 1 Homing Laser Turret, 1
Anti-Personnel Automatic Blaster Turret
Medium Attack Walker
Dwarf Spider Droid
Looking somewhat
ridiculous on the battlefield, this bug-eyed combat droid is known
for being rather explosive when destroyed, and packing a lot of much
more directed firepower when still online. Armed with a long and
accurate laser cannon protruding from its round head, Dwarf Spider
Droids can incinerate infantry units with single shots and leave
marks in even heavily armored vehicles, but suffer from poor agility
and a potentially fatal weakness to aerial attack. They are built
along with the Homing Spider Droid.
Height: 1.77 meters
Armament: 1 Laser Cannon
Abilities:
Information Relay - Increases the range
and accuracy of all Homing Spider Droids within range
Light Attack Walker
Advanced Dwarf Spider
Droid **Upgrade Unit**
This upgrade to the
standard Dwarf Spider Droid is much less bizarre in appearance. It
is an example of form following function, as it is little more than
processing circuits enclosed in a heavily armored chassis with a
cannon protruding out of it, made mobile by four thick mechanical
legs. Advanced Dwarf Spider Droids are less violently explosive when
destroyed and are tougher to destroy in the first place. They will
replace Dwarf Spider Droids with an upgrade.
Height: 1.7 meters
Armament: 1 Laser Cannon
Abilities:
Information Relay - Increases the range
and accuracy of all Homing Spider Droids within range
Light Attack Walker
Tank Droid
The Corporate Alliance’s
favorite enforcer, the Tank Droid packs heavy firepower indeed,
making them a highly valuable addition to the Confederacy’s attack
force. Tank Droids move on huge central treads supported by two
outriggers. Intimidating enough already, they can also utilize
vocabulators to instill further terror in their enemies. Even
seasoned clone warriors will scatter before this great beast of a
machine.
Height: 6.2 meters
Armament: 2 Heavy Laser Cannons, 2 Laser
Cannons, Modulated Vocabulator
Abilities:
Vocabulator Terrorize - Reduces enemy
units’ rate of fire and accuracy briefly with words from the
vocabulator speech box
Heavy Tank
Hailfire Droid
(render)
An odd-looking droid tank
that rolls along on hoop-like wheels, the Hailfire Droid is fast and
highly dangerous, especially if you are an enemy pilot of either
aircraft or ground vehicle. They can shoot off thirty hailfire
missiles from twin stacked racks on either side of its “head” and
defend themselves with a single laser cannon until they can reload.
Rocket infantry are their bane.
Height: 8.5 meters
Armament: 1 Laser Cannon, Hailfire
Missiles
Abilities:
Switch Weapons - Switches between gun and
missiles
Heavy Artillery
MTT
Elephantine and
gargantuan, these brown-armored monsters have enough reinforced
armor to successfully ram a bunker protected by two meters of solid
duracrete at little damage to themselves. Known to simply plow
through even landslides, MTTs are almost unstoppable in their
advance. They are best dealt with as mobile buildings rather than
vehicles, with bombs proving much more effective than torpedoes.
Their main function is to transport and offload massive numbers of
troops.
Length: 31 meters
Armament: 2 Dual Blaster Cannons
Troop Transport
Hero Units:
Dooku’s Solar Sailer
(hero)
A Geonosian-built
Punworcca-116 space yacht with a custom solar sail attached to it
for additional charm and style, this conveyance is the personal
transport of Count Dooku, leader of the Confederacy of Independent
Systems. It has no conventional weaponry of use in battle, but is
fairly nimble - although it should have an escort to keep it safe
from enemy interceptors. This craft belongs to Count Dooku and can
land him on planets.
Length: 16.8 meters
Armament: None
Abilities:
Tractor Disable - Disables enemy units
temporarily
Neutralize - Instantly crushes an enemy
hardpoint with tractor-beamed small asteroids
Grievous’s
Belbullab-22 Starfighter (hero)
A modified Belbullab-22
starfighter, originally produced by the Confederacy-aligned Techno
Union, General Grievous’s personal starfighter is fast and more than
capable of engaging in heated combat. Painted with a beautiful
chromium finish not unlike that which can be found on starships of
Nubia and their primary customer world, Naboo, Grievous’s
Belbullab-22 Starfighter embodies the elegance desired by the Droid
General. This craft belongs to General Grievous and can land him on
planets.
Length: 6.71 meters
Armament: 2 Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons
Abilities:
Nitro-Boost - Puts on a temporary burst
of speed
Jango’s Slave I
(hero)
A customized Kuat Drive
Yards Firespray patrol ship, the famous Slave I is an ideal
ship for a bounty hunter like Jango Fett to pilot. Agile enough to
navigate through obstacles like asteroid fields and planetary rings
and tough enough to withstand several direct hits from capital
ship-grade turbolaser emplacements, Jango’s Slave I is a ship
that any rival hunter would envy, and it is a ship that has killed
more than one rival hunter - including Jango’s arch-nemesis, the
murderous Montross. This craft belongs to Jango Fett and can land
him on planets.
Height: 21.5 meters
Armament: 2 Rapid-Fire Laser Cannons
Abilities:
Seismic Charge - Detonates a seismic
charge to deal heavy damage to nearby units
Asajj’s Ginivex-class
Geonosian Starfighter (hero)
Custom-ordered by the
enigmatic Separatist leader, Count Dooku of Serenno, the Ginivex-class
Geonosian “fanblade” fighters were built for the use of Commander
Asajj Ventress, a Dark Jedi protégé of Dooku’s. Asajj’s Ginivex-class
Geonosian Starfighter is fast, nimble, and armed well enough to keep
it well in the skies. Asajj is an exquisite fighter pilot with many
kills to her name, and she can weave her personal craft through even
the thickest rain of enemy turbolasers and fighter squadrons. This
fighter belongs to Asajj Ventress and can land her on planets.
Length: 11.2 meters
Armament: 4 Laser Cannons
Abilities:
Terrorize - Drastically reduces nearby
enemies’ accuracy for a short time
Sev’Rance’s Amorix-class
Geonosian Transport (hero)
This Geonosian transport
ship is among the finest ever produced by the Huppla Pasa Tisc
Shipwrights Collective. Ordered to luxurious specifications by Count
Dooku, much as the Sith Lord had ordered the Ginivex-class
fanblade starfighters that eventually went to Asajj Ventress, the
Amorix-class Geonosian Transport is a solid rival to Dooku’s own
Solar Sailer for sheer comfort and style. The lavish transport was
given to General Sev’Rance Tann, a high-ranking figure in the
Confederacy’s military and one of Dooku’s most promising Dark
Acolytes. This craft belongs to Sev’Rance Tann and can land her on
planets.
Length: 16.3 meters
Armament: None
Abilities:
Nitro-Boost - Puts on a temporary burst
of speed
Battle Meditation - Improves nearby
allies’ attack and speed for a short time
Durge’s Nomad
Hammer (hero)
A custom patrol ship
built by the Gen’Dai mercenary Durge, the Nomad Hammer is a
boxy, rugged-looking miniature cruiser. Built to accommodate a
Confederacy of Independent Systems-provided crew of four in addition
to Durge himself, the Nomad Hammer was rewired to have
automation in place of these organic personnel when Durge grew
irritated with their lack of total perfection and decided to crush
their skulls. This craft belongs to Durge and can land him on
planets.
Length: 28.4 meters
Armament: 1 Turbolaser Cannon, 3 Laser
Cannons, 4 Concussion Missiles
Abilities:
Turbolaser Blast - Fires a single
powerful shot from a shipboard turbolaser
Count Dooku (hero)
Count Dooku of Serenno
was once a great and powerful Jedi Master. A champion fencer and
duelist, Dooku was also something of a maverick, bending the Jedi
Code and even the orders of the Council where he saw fit to. He
constructed a lightsaber with a curved hilt, favoring the sweeping
attacks that he could perform with it, but then he fell prey to the
seduction of the dark side and became the apprentice of Darth
Sidious. Dooku killed his Jedi friend Sifo-Dyas after Sifo-Dyas
ordered a clone army for the Republic on Kamino but before he could
tell the Council, and assumed the title of Darth Tyranus.
Height: 1.93 meters
Armament: Lightsaber (red)
Abilities:
Force Lightning - Assails a group of
enemies with dark side electricity from range
Quick Reflexes - Increases attack speed
immensely for a very short time
General Grievous and
MagnaGuards (hero)
This cyborg Kaleesh
warrior has been trained by Count Dooku in the ways of lightsaber
fighting. He has ascended through the ranks of the Confederacy of
Independent Systems, becoming a figure nearly on par with Count
Dooku. At once an ingenious military strategist, a fearsome and bold
leader, and a combatant of incredible skill and strength, General
Grievous represents the face of the cold Droid Army. He is
monstrously powerful at melee range, but is vulnerable to ranged
weapons. He is escorted by two IG-100 MagnaGuard droids.
Height: 2.16 meters
General Grievous’s Armament: Lightsaber
(blue)
MagnaGuard #1’s Armament: Electro-Staff
MagnaGuard #2’s Armament: Electro-Staff

Furious Assault - Becomes semi-autonomous
and uses lightsabers to destroy nearby enemies
Terrify - Reduces enemy accuracy and rate
of fire
Jango Fett (hero)
One of the greatest
bounty hunters in the galaxy, Jango Fett is of Mandalorian heritage.
Hailing from the backwater world of Concord Dawn, Jango was trained
by Mandalorian journeyman protector Jaster Mareel, but his mentor
was killed by rival bounty hunter Montross. Jango mercilessly hunted
Montross, determined to have his revenge, and destroyed Montross’s
ship with him aboard it when he finally caught up with the hunter.
Jango was recruited by Count Dooku to be the template for the
Republic’s clone army and unwittingly provided the source for the
Separatists’ bane.
Height: 1.83 meters
Armament: Dual WESTAR-34 Blaster Pistols,
Wrist-Mounted Flamethrower
Abilities:
Jetpack - Activates a jetpack to take to
the skies for a short time
Flamethrower - Activates a flamethrower
to scorch a group of enemies
Asajj Ventress (hero)
This bald humanoid woman
was once a Jedi Padawan, but her master had been accidentally
abandoned on the gladiatorial world of Rattatak and she never was
recorded as a Jedi. After his death, Asajj eventually took to
fighting in the gladiator competitions, besting every opponent who
she faced by drawing upon the dark side of the Force. Count Dooku
eventually discovered her talents after his own fall into darkness
and appointed her as his own protégé and a Commander of the
Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Height: 1.6 meters
Armament: Dual Lightsabers (red)
Abilities:
Staff Saber - Forms a staff saber to
increase attack and defense but reduce attack speed
Rancor Summoning - Calls upon a
half-trained Rancor ally for a short time
Sev’Rance Tann (hero)
Sev’Rance Tann, or
Sev’rance’tann as she is known among the Chiss, has repeatedly done
the impossible in military exercises and continues to impress Count
Dooku himself with her lightsaber prowess. Sev’Rance can harness the
Force, and she has been taught to use not only its light side, but
also its dark side, for only with them together is the Force
complete and powerful. General Sev’Rance Tann is a visible face of
the Separatist Droid Army, and with her glowing red eyes, she is an
intimidating face indeed.
Height: 1.73 meters
Armament: Lightsaber (yellow)
Abilities:
Supreme Command - Boosts the speed,
attack, rate of fire, and accuracy of all allied units on the map
Airstrike - Calls in an HMP Droid Gunship
to fire rockets at a small target area
Durge (hero)
A member of the
unstoppable Gen’Dai species, the mercenary Durge has slumbered for
many hundreds of years. He has awakened now to accept a contract to
aid the Confederacy of Independent Systems in their war against the
Galactic Republic. Durge has little like for any other living being,
but has especial disdain for the Mandalorians (a disdain that he
extends to the Republic’s clone infantry) and hatred for the Jedi.
Durge can regenerate lost body parts and has a highly decentralized
nervous system, meaning that he can withstand many blows that would
kill most with little pain at all.
Height: 2.29 meters
Armament: Dual AjaxX-9 Blaster Pistols
Abilities:
Swoop Bike - Mounts a swoop bike to ride
on for a speed increase and defense reduction
Regenerate - Heals a large amount of
lost health rapidly
